Eligibility (Open to current students who enrolled in fall semester, both first-time applicants and reapplicants who meet any of the following criteria)

1. Students who are not current recipients of the scholarship.
2. Students who will be in PhD Years 5 in the Fall semester of 2025 (regardless of current scholarship status).
3. Students who will in bachelor year 2-4 in the Fall semester of 2025 (regardless of current scholarship status).

Special note for renewal review

Students who have received email title with renewal review, means you are eligible to renewal review system. Please refer to the link attached in email for application.

Special note for IBP students

IBP students who meet the following conditions, please submit your application documents directly to IBP Office via IBP link. Any questions, please contact ibp@my.nthu.edu.tw

1. IBP Group A students: Year 1 - Year 3 (with student ID: 1110061XX, 1120061XX, 1130061XX)

5. Recommendation letter format (one letter only/ Master and Doctoral Students only)

*Please print it via the “Automated Document Application Payment Machine” which located in 1st Floor, Administrative Building or contact with Division of Registration (https://registra.site.nthu.edu.tw/p/412-1211-16206.php?Lang=en)

**If your GPA/T scores have not come out before the scholarship application deadline, you can still apply for the transcript of all academic years and submit your application.

Note for reapplying students

1. Please use “Chrome” and log in your Gmail (for tacking your submission) to open the google sheet and submit the required documents (No.1 ~ 4) regarding your degree online. (No.5 recommendation letter will be sent by your advisor directly to ISS (International Student Scholarship) office.
2. To speed up the reviewing process and make the reviewer easily notify who you are, please combine multiple documents into a single PDF file by required documents 1,2,3,4 order and rename it with abbreviation (refer to the reference below) before uploading.

How to invite your advisor to recommend you (Master and Doctoral Students only) (one letter only)

1. Invite your advisor to email the recommendation letter directly to scholarship@my.nthu.edu.tw before June 26. (Note: To help us recognize the applicant, please email with the title “2025Fall NTHU scholarship recommendation letter_ Applicant student ID NO.”.)
2. We offer recommendation letter format for reference but are not limit to the format.

1. This form can only be filled out once and cannot be modified after submission.
