Call for Proposals for the 2027 Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP)

To attract outstanding young students from around the world to undertake short-term internships in Taiwan, help them gain a better understanding of Taiwan’s academic and educational resources, and encourage them to pursue further studies in Taiwan or contribute their expertise to Taiwan after completing their education, the Ministry of Education (MOE) invites faculty members at universities and colleges in Taiwan to submit proposals for the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP).

Proposed projects should primarily focus on Taiwan’s Six Core Strategic Industries—including information and digital technology, cybersecurity, precision health, green energy and renewable energy, national defense and strategic industries, and civil preparedness and strategic supplies—as well as the 5+2 Industrial Innovation Plan, which encompasses smart machinery, the Asia Silicon Valley Development Plan, green energy technology, the biomedical industry, the defense industry, new agriculture, and the circular economy.

The maximum duration of each participant’s stay in Taiwan is generally six months. For further details, please refer to the Call for Proposals Guidelines and the TEEP Program Regulations.
Full-time faculty members interested in applying are invited to upload their project proposals and all required application documents to the following website by October 30, 2026 : https://teep.studyintaiwan.org/project_portal/

After submitting the application, please notify the contact person at the Office of Global Affairs by email at cyuliu@mx.nthu.edu.tw to confirm that the application has been successfully submitted.

Faculty members who have previously received TEEP funding as project principal investigators must upload the required annual records for all TEEP participants hosted under their projects. These records should include each participant’s country of origin, educational background, period of stay in Taiwan, scholarship payment period, outstanding achievements, and post-program status.
Please note that applications for the 2027 TEEP program will not be accepted from principal investigators who have completed their projects but failed to submit the required information through the online system.
