【NTHU International Student Local Engagement Activities】Registration Open for Cultural Tours in Hsinchu

Dear International Students,

To help international students better connect with local communities and experience Taiwan’s diverse culture, National Tsing Hua University is organizing a series of International Student Local Engagement Activities. These activities combine cultural visits, industry exploration, and hands-on experiences, offering students the opportunity to learn more about Taiwan’s society, traditions, and everyday life while interacting with local communities.

We warmly welcome you to join the following activities:

Learning Ocean Sustainability from the Captain

Round 1: Saturday, May 2nd (09:00 - 16:00) (Limited to 20 people)

Round 2: Sunday, May 3rd (09:00 - 16:00) (Limited to 20 people)

Join the captain of "Mingfa Fixed Fish Farm" on a fishing boat trip to learn about Taiwan's sustainable fisheries. Enjoy a delicious lunch of freshly caught fish, followed by a visit to the fish auction to witness the stunning "fish waterfall" and participate in traditional buying.

In the afternoon, we'll explore "Xiangshan Wetland," the largest wetland in northern Taiwan, to appreciate the oyster farming industry and learn about wetland ecology. We welcome you to join us to discover and fall in love with Taiwan.
