This is only for Overseas Chinese Students and Hongkong / Macau students.

The Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) has revised the Guidelines for Medical Emergency and Funeral Condolence Allowance for Overseas Chinese Students, effective August 14, 2025. Please note the following key updates:

 Safety & Eligibility
If hospitalization or death is caused by the student’s illegal conduct or suicide, condolence allowance will not be granted.
 Please strictly follow Taiwan’s laws, pay close attention to traffic safety information, and prioritize your health.

 Application Deadline
Normally, applications must be submitted within the same year of the incident.
If the incident happens after November 1, or if hospitalization continues into the next year, students may submit the application in the following year with supporting documents.
