📢 Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations (FOCA) 2026 National College Overseas Student Mandarin Singing Competition is Now Open for Registration!

Unleash your musical talent and ignite your singing potential! Every year, over 80 top overseas students sign up to compete. This year, we are thrilled to invite the renowned music producer, Hsiao Wen Ting, to be our judge.

50 contestants will be selected for the finals. The list will be announced on the FOCA official website and Facebook fan page.

📝 Registration Method & Preliminary Rules

🔗 3 Steps to Register

  1. Record a Preliminary Video: Use your personal device to record a singing video under 1 minute.
  2. Upload to YouTube: Upload the video to your personal YouTube channel.

·Video Title: Please set it as "Applicant's Name".

·Privacy Settings: Please set to "Unlisted" (anyone with the link can view).

  1. Fill out the Online Form: Upload the "Video Link" and the "Registration Form (must be stamped by the Division of Overseas and International Degree Student Affairs)" to the registration system.

🎵 Preliminary Video Rules & Notices

  • Song Choice: You may choose any song for the preliminary round (Note: The song listed on the registration form will be used for the "Finals").
  • Recording Guidelines: No post-editing or vocal effects allowed. You may use an instrumental track (karaoke version) or sing a cappella.

🏆 Finals Information & On-site Rules

🎤 Check-in & Rehearsal

  • On the day of the finals, rehearsal and MV version confirmation will be open from 10:40 to 12:40. If you wish to confirm, please arrive early to prepare.
  • Rehearsal times may be adjusted based on on-site conditions. Please fully cooperate with the staff's guidance and arrangements.

⚠️ Important Reminder for the Finals

  • Song changes are not allowed on the day of the competition. Please carefully decide on your final song when filling out the registration form.
