【Pay Attention to Water Safety – Protect Yourself!】
In recent years, there have been unfortunate incidents involving international students drowning in rivers and streams in Taiwan. Many of these students, unfamiliar with Taiwan's water environments, are unaware of potential dangers such as rapidly rising water levels during the rainy season, hidden whirlpools and undercurrents, and unpredictable riverbed terrain. These factors can quickly lead to dangerous situations and even loss of life.
Please heed warning signs near the water and never enter the water recklessly!
If you plan to engage in water activities, make sure to choose legal and safe locations that are equipped with adequate lifeguard support and safety equipment. Always keep an eye on your companions during water activities to ensure timely assistance in case of emergencies.
Additionally, always warm up properly before entering the water. Avoid staying in the water for extended periods or engaging in risky behaviors such as diving. Do not enter the water during unstable weather conditions or if you are feeling unwell.
