The Moon Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the
lunar calendar. It is one of the most significant Chinese festivals,
alongside Chinese New Year and the Dragon Boat Festival. During this
holiday, people in Taiwan typically gather with family and friends for
barbecues, enjoy delicious moon cakes and pomelos, and spend time admiring
the beautiful full moon.
