📣 2025 National Tsing Hua University International Student Visiting Scholarship — Now Open for Applications!
Applications are now open! This scholarship aims to support NTHU students participating in short-term academic exchange or professional development abroad. The maximum subsidy is NT$20,000 per student. Eligible students are encouraged to apply through their department and college offices.
🔔 Important Dates
- Internal Deadlines: Students must submit their application materials to their department or college office by the deadline set by each unit.
- Final Submission to OGA (by colleges only): Tuesday, July 22, 2025
👉 Please note: Individual students should not submit materials directly to the Office of Global Affairs (OGA). All applications must be collected, reviewed, and submitted by each college.

- Application & Subsidy
Applications are now open. The maximum subsidy is NT$20,000 per student, in principle. - Nomination & Quota
Each college is responsible for reviewing applications and submitting a final list of nominees and alternates to the Office of Global Affairs (OGA) by July 22, 2025 (Tuesday).
College-specific quotas have already been announced to the respective offices. - Eligibility
(1) Applicants must be recommended by their academic advisor to engage in one of the following overseas activities (PhD students are given priority):- Short-term research, training, study, academic visits, fieldwork, conference participation, internships, or international competitions.
(2) Students must follow their department or college’s internal deadlines for application submission.
(3) Eligible activity period: January 1 to November 30, 2025.
(4) Recipients must return to Taiwan and complete all required documentation by November 30, 2025.
(5) Due to fiscal year restrictions, deferred or canceled activities will not retain eligibility for future funding.
(6) This scholarship may not be received concurrently with other OGA or government-funded scholarships.
(7) Required documents for reimbursement include a boarding pass copy, e-ticket, final report, and signed receipt.
