The amendments to the National Tsing Hua University International Student Scholarship Regulations were approved at the 107th Meeting of the University Endowment Fund Management Committee on May 18, 2026, and are effective immediately.
The key points of this amendment are as follows:
- To enhance the university's competitiveness in recruiting outstanding international doctoral students, a new incentive mechanism has been added: Doctoral students who hold a status of "Lecturer or above" at a public or private foreign university may, upon passing the review, receive an increased monthly living allowance of up to NT$25,000 from the Office of Global Affairs (OGA) if they are Type A recipients.
