【Announcement】 Registration Open: March 2026 TOCFL Listening & Reading Pilot Test

Steering Committee for the Test Of Proficiency-Huayu (SC-TOP) will be holding the 2026 TOCFL Listening and Reading Pilot Test on March 28, 2026.

This pilot test offers an excellent opportunity to assess your Mandarin proficiency and familiarize yourself with the TOCFL examination format at a significantly reduced cost. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this session to benchmark your learning progress.

Test Details

  • Test Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026.
  • Test Fee: NT$ 200.
  • Test Levels: Band A (Beginner), Band B (Intermediate), and Band C (Advanced).
  • Test Locations: Seven centers across Taiwan, including locations in Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung.
    • Note: Specific venues include NTNU, National Taipei University of Education, Takming University of Science and Technology, Chien Hsin University, Tunghai University, NCKU, and Wenzao Ursuline University.

  • Registration Period: February 9 (Mon) – March 3 (Tue), 2026.
    • If vacancies remain after the deadline, registration may be extended until March 6.

Exclusive Incentives

Participants in this pilot test will receive special gifts as a token of appreciation:

  1. All Test-Takers: Will receive a TOCFL regular script fudepen (calligraphy pen) on the day of the test.
  2. Band C High Achievers: Test-takers who achieve a Listening score > 55 and a Reading score > 60 will additionally receive a USB flash drive.

Important Regulations (Crucial)

Please be advised that strict identification rules apply. The personal information provided during registration must completely match your Passport or Alien Resident Certificate (ARC).

  • On Test Day: You must present your original Passport or ARC.
  • Prohibited Items: Photocopies, student IDs, health insurance cards, or driver's licenses will not be accepted. Any discrepancy in personal data will result in the revocation of your registration.
